  • Mentoring is a collaborative relationship between a mentor and a mentee aimed at personal and professional development. As a mental health mentor, I provide guidance, support, and encouragement to individuals seeking to overcome challenges, set and achieve goals, and unlock their full potential.

Counseling is a more therapeutic process focused on addressing emotional, psychological, and interpersonal challenges in a supportive and confidential environment. As a counselor, I provide a safe space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and to work through issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, and more.

  • I understand the courage it takes to open up and seek support. I provide a compassionate and empathetic space where you can share your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. My approach is gentle and caring, aimed at listening to your unique story and walking alongside you on your journey to healing and growth.

I tailor my approach to suit your needs and the number of sessions you can attend or afford. Everyone is different and requires a different therapeutic approach. The focus may be to help you:

    • Become more aware of your values, goals and life direction

    • Improve your relationships

    • Feel more optimistic about your life

    • Recover from the effects of trauma

    • To manage particular situations or hardship

  • With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Public Health, as well as a Master of Arts with First Class Honours in Psychology from Auckland University, I bring a strong academic foundation to my work as a mental health mentor and counsellor.

Additionally, I have accrued three years of invaluable experience mentoring individuals facing various challenges, drawing upon my education and personal insight to offer guidance and support.

My qualifications, coupled with my practical experience, enable me to offer comprehensive support to individuals seeking to enhance their mental well-being and navigate life's complexities with confidence and resilience.

  • I offer zoom or phone consultations nation wide.

I also offer nature based sessions in the Wanaka region. I am a strong believer in the connecting power of nature, and incorporate a gentle walk alongside the lake into our sessions. I find this particularly valuable for youth who may struggle with a more clinical setting or remaining seated for prolonged periods of time.

  • I recognise that accessing care is not easy, and I can work alongside you to find an affordable solution.

I typically offer sessions on a sliding scale of between $70 and $90 an hour.

I also offer 30 minute mentoring check ins, and these are currently priced at $40 per session.
